MSU 2026 CIRCLE THEATER
The 2026 Summer Circle Theatre (SCT) season at Michigan State University will continue its tradition of free, professional, and student-produced outdoor performances. Located in the courtyard between the MSU Auditorium and Kresge Art Center, it offers, theater, musicals, and family-friendly entertainment.

• Location: Summer Circle Theatre Courtyard (between MSU Auditorium and Kresge Art Building).
• Cost: Free admission, open to the public.
• Atmosphere: Casual outdoor seating; attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.
  Accessibility: Free parking in Lot 9.
  Inclement Weather: Performances move inside the Auditorium Building if necessary.

2026 MAINSTAGE PRODUCTIONS
Performances are generally held Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:00 PM and Sundays at 4:00 PM. 

• The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane
  • Dates: June 4, 5, 6 (7:00 PM); June 7 (4:00 PM).
  • Description: A family-friendly story about a china rabbit who goes on an insightful journey.
• Pride@Prejudice
  • Dates: June 11, 12, 13 (7:00 PM); June 14 (4:00 PM).
  • Description: A modern, lighthearted reimagining of the Jane Austen classic, featuring 5 actors playing over 25 roles.
• Honky Tonk Laundry, The Musical
  • Dates: June 18, 19, 20 (7:00 PM); June 21 (4:00 PM).
  • Description: A hilarious revenge-themed country musical set in a laundromat. 

 Pre-Show & Post-Show Entertainment

• Broadway Backwards Cabaret: Friday, June 6 and June 13.

PLAN YOUR VISIT

• Location: Summer Circle Theatre Courtyard, 542 Auditorium Road, East Lansing, MI 48824.
• Parking: Free in Lot 9 (directly across from the Auditorium) starting at 6:00 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends.
• What to Bring: Blankets or lawn chairs are recommended for seating. In case of rain, shows typically move inside the MSU Auditorium Building.
