3 – 10 P.M.

This successful, well attended plant exchange and social gathering has been happening for a number of years.  It’s the first of the season to gather, interact with many others, catchup on happenings while munching, having refreshment, strolling the grounds, and relaxing in the country.  Although it is an outdoor social time; if the weather is not cooperative there is the large pole barn and the house to hang out in.

This event is being held one weekend earlier than previous years.

(Kayaking is not scheduled as rental’s are not available on this date.  If you want to bring your own to kayak from Eaton Rapids, let Rich know.)

4 P.M. Annual Plant Exchange:

Plant exchange begins.  Bring your overgrown/extra perennials and extra annuals. Take home some new plants.   Please label and mark your plant(s) with its name and growing instructions.

6 P.M. Something is Cooking To Be Served:

• Meat will be provided by host.
• Bring a dish to share as salads, fruits, appetizers, hot dishes/casserole’s and desserts.
• Bring a chair, BYOB, and outdoor games you may want to play.

There will be trail walking, morel picking, and foraging on your own.
Fireworks will begin at dusk.

Driving Directions:
From I-96, Exit 101, (Eaton Rapids).  Drive about 9 miles south on Hwy 99; past the golf course, the English Inn and Bunker Hwy.  After Bunker Hwy, get in the left lane and take the first turn around, drive directly onto Hwy 99 going north.  On Hwy 99 north, turn right down the tree-lined road to the house.  (The Jug&Mug sign will be on the ground, on your left shortly before the turn around.)  You have went too far if you see the fire station.    ( The road was reconstruction with turn arounds last year.)
