A Fall Weekend In Pentwater

All rooms have been reserved at the Channel Lane Inn BUT a couple of other options are in consideration.   In the meantime, let Sharon know you want to come so we can place you on a wait list and look to reserve other option. If someone wants to cancel, we will contact you.   

A Fall Weekend in Pentwater
Thursday, Sept. 28 – Sunday, October 1, 2023

All 6 rooms and a 2-bedroom suite have been reserved at the Channel Lane Inn Motel for the Jug & Mug Ski Club members. Four persons per room.  Located across the street from the Inn is the channel walkway; a leisurely 200 yard stroll to Charles Mears State Park and Lake Michigan beach.  It’s a short stroll to downtown Pentwater.

Each room provides 2 queen beds, fully furnished kitchenettes with refrigerator, range, microwave and more.  Behind the Motel is a large open area with picnic tables and grills. A great gathering place for the group.  Rooms have a back door opening to this area.

May 1, 2023, all rooms not reserved will be released to the public.

Making Your reservation: Call the Inn/Lisa at 231-869-5766 and identify yourself as a member of the Club to reserve your room. A deposit equal to 1-night’s stay is due at the time of your reservation which would be $115.00 plus 6% tax charged to your credit card.  Lisa will ask if you want to reserve all 3 nights.  You can add a 4th night, Sunday, October 1, to your reservation, if the room is available.  Website: http://channellaneinn.com

• The cost is $115.00 per night for a kitchenette room.  The total is $345.00 plus 6% tax for 3 nights.
• The 2-bedroom Suite is $190.00 a night for a total of $570.00.
• Add $10/night for weekend only.

A wait list will be maintained by Lisa if rooms are full when you call;  please give Lisa your information and contact Sharon too.

Please do not cancel your room without notifying Sharon first: these rooms rent extremely fast! In fact, summer months and first weeks of September were filled when we looked for a date in  2022.

(If there is a cancellation, the 1-bedroom cottage should become available to us, sleeps 3.)

Cancellation Policy:

1. Cancellation more than 10 days prior to arrival, your deposit will be refunded minus $25 cancellation fee.
2. Cancellation of all or part of your reservation less than 10 days prior to arrival, your deposit will be held as a cancellation fee.
3. Cancellations on the day of arrival or no shows will be charged the entire reservation amount.

Caroline Denlar, who lives in Pentwater, will provide information relating to restaurants, shopping, events, etc. in Pentwater and surrounding areas as Ludington. She is familiar with the areas and happy to answer your questions.
