Saturday, February 26, meet up at 2 p.m. in the first parking lot and the trail entrance is to the west from the parking lot.

At 3:30 p.m., meet up at the Brickhaven Brewery for dinner.  Address is 200 E Jefferson, Grand Ledge.    On January 30, there were 16 in attendance enjoying the food and converations.

Fitzgerald Park offers cross country ski and snowshoe rentals.  

  • Cross country ski rentals include skis, boots, and poles.
  • Snowshoe rentals include snowshoes and options of poles.
  • Children and adult sizes are available.
  • Picture ID required for rental. Primary rental holder must be a minimum of 18 years of age).
  • Cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover accepted.

RENTAL FEES

  • $5/hour
  • $15/day (24 hour rental)
  • $50/weekend (3 days/2 nights)

RENTAL HOURS

  • Monday – Friday:  by appointment (517) 627-7351 *Please call the day you wish to rent for appointment. We do not reserve for future days in advance.
  • Saturday:  10am – 5pm – first come/first serve (last rental goes out at 4pm)
  • Sunday:     Noon – 5pm – first come/first serve (last rental goes out at 4pm)
  • Special events are first come/first serve

  • There is a vehicle entrance fee of $3/day for residents and $5/day for non-residents.  There was no entrance fee  in January.

Afterwards, meetup at the Brickhaven Micro-Brewery around 3:30 p.m., 200 East Jefferson St., Grand Ledge.  They do not take reservations but have plenty of seating at tables and the bar.  They are open from noon – 6 p.m. Sunday.
