Kayak Float With River Town Adventures

Rich Rybicki is planning a 1 o’clock kayak float on the Grand River, followed by a meetup at a restaurant.

Kayaks have been reserved at River Town Adventures.   Let Rich know by August 15 if you plan to kayak.  He can be reached at (517) 663-1854 or richrybick@yahoo.com.   You need to arrive early to pay and to sign a River Town waiver form.

The cost depends on your choice of paddle. The most popular paddle is Power of Grand, 1.8 miles, 1 to 1.5 hours with drop off at Moore Park with a cost of $23 for per kayak.   A downtown paddle is $10 per hour.   If available, the Zoo to Market paddle on the Red Cedar, 3 miles, 2.5 hours for a cost of $28.

If you do not want to kayak but prefer to bicycle, River Town also offers bike rentals located in the City Market.  Cost is $10 for an hour or $30 for 4 hours.  Tandem bikes are $20 for an hour.
