DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nEvent has been cancelled.\nGREAT LAKES SAIL\nA TRIP FOR A
 DVENTURERS!\nLive on a 77 foot sailing schooner\, hoist the sails\, take a
  turn at the wheel\, and learn about your great Lake Michigan. The best tr
 ip will happen when we take advantage of the weather. Our captain will giv
 e us options based on the weather and wind conditions and we can decide to
 gether what adventures are within reach. Possible options are sailing arou
 nd the Old Mission Peninsula\, said to be the most beautiful coastline in 
 Michigan. We might sail to Power Island in Grand Traverse Bay and walk the
  shoreline. We could cross over the Leelanau Peninsula to Cathead Bay. If 
 the winds are in our favor\, we could sail to islands in the Great Lakes A
 rchipelago: Beaver Island\, Garden Island\, Hog Island\, etc. Closer are t
 he Manitou Islands\, or South Fox Island\, with its historic lighthouse an
 d perhaps the most beautiful beach in the Midwest.\n\nThe destination is n
 ot the journey\, however. In addition to sailing\, we can learn about Lake
  Michigan. The Inland Seas Schooner is an educational vessel with sampling
  equipment\, a laboratory\, and a remote-controlled camera-equipped underw
 ater vehicle. We could possibly explore a shipwreck with the camera. Oppor
 tunities abound to learn about ships\, sailing\, and the Great Lakes. Mari
 time traditions of card games\, music and storytelling are observed.\n\nTh
